Lyft benefits
What are some good benefits at Lyft? Surprised to learn that they do not match any 401k contributions! That probably ranks them as one of the worst in tech. Where do they make up for it? Tc 350 YOE 8
Affirm also doesn’t match and they award your stock at twice the current trading price $50

Tesla just started to match 401k this year…
The benefits I can think of off the top of my head are Mega back door Roth contribution, one medical membership, Lyft pink membership, wfh stipend, phone reimbursement, catered lunch if you go into the office And competitive pay 400k+ for senior eng
They do MBDR? Wow that’s awesome. $65k a year? That’s better than any 401k match
Lot of companies do both 401k match and MBDR. Eg MSFT, GOOG and AMZN (although Amazon match is lower)

Uber doesn’t match as well. Expedia didn’t match during 2020.
Yikes. I was shocked to find out that open door didn't do 401k matching last year. But at least they were a small company.
