The Lyft recruiter sent an email saying “I have an update for you and wanted to see if you had some time to connect” It’s weekend and my mind just wonders if it’s a failure. I did the interview well, but not the best. I screwed up when explaining the time complexity. I said it’s o(n) but I was sorting and it’s obvious it’s nlogn. Other than that all other rounds were ok. I got a flat vibe. Neither positive nor negative vibe. Is this a rejection? I can’t feel good.
Generally update and requesting for a call, especially before/over the weekend means good news! Relax, it will be a good news!
Take the call and move on.
It should be good news but keep your options open with Lyft. I was scheduled an onsite and then canceled with them. Know a few other people with same experience.
Send email and asked whether you cleared.. why so much drama?
I did reply “yes please feel free to call me anytime and you could also drop an email on the result that would prepare me for the call”
can be anything
I’ve gotten an email like this that was an offer and rejection. Means nothing.
It's a post-interview call with a recruiter, no LC here. Just take it and find out what the news is
Usually if it’s positive they want to talk the same day or next day.
usually rejection or they would have said “I have great/exciting news”

The job market is absolutely brutal right now
This happened for my first google phone interview. The call was to tell me that they didn't have enough roles open. A week later I got another call that spots had opened up.
