I recently got an offer that I am considering to accept. I live in Washington and the role is in SF so need to relocate. I am planning to take about an year for relocation while working remotely till then and travel up and down once in 2 weeks or so. How is the remote work culture at Lyft?
Very open to WFH.

Why would you want to relocate? Seattle office is nice, we are hiring and COL is significantly better
The PM role I am good for is in SF so. I will ask to work from Seattle and see what happens.
When I interviewed they weren’t too encouraging of the idea
I see. I will ask and see what happens. I am looking for working remotely for about an year before relocating
So far I don't think we have any PMs not in SF, but I'm guessing soon we'll have entire teams SWE + PM) in Seattle. I'm guessing it would be a bit challenging unless the whole team is in Seattle, since you'll already have to deal with being away from all the other stakeholders.

Cant speak about remote work culture personally but we do have an office in seattle if you live close to there. And teams ive worked with dont seem to mind working remote, esp if youre an engineer.
