So I already accepted an offer but just want to interview at other t1/2 companies (learning about them, practice). Is it ok to lie about not accepting an offer/having deadlines and having them spend their time and resources interviewing me for a job i won’t accept? It is for summer internship roles

OP - I couldn't care less what you do
It’s weird to interview for jobs you don’t want. You’d learn more by interviewing for jobs you do want.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Is like companies interviewing for non existent jobs
Ethics are already scarce in the corporate world, if you are willing to be that self centered and selfish at the beginning of your career, I fear what the end of your career will look like.
I think it is unethical to waste other people’s time strictly for your own benefit. They are interviewing you because of the potential benefit you may bring to the company. Having said that, I did interview with some companies that I thought I would unlikely join, just to get competing offers.
How about companies being unethical going into complete silence after candidates attend their interviews? Go ahead op. Do whatever you want. No one is really fair here.
Yes, that is also unethical, obviously.
