Very few job postings at Meta point to leadership positions. I currently lead a team of 50 engineers, looking for same at Meta or ideally a bump in organization size. How can I find such opportunities? Only via recruiters? If via recruiters, does anyone have any pointers on landing a leadership role?
It's the truth, openings for M2+ are harder everywhere since number of openings are miniscule. I am trying for Microsoft M2 myself. May I DM you op - need some advice for upcoming interviews
Sure DM me
What is M2 equivalent at Microsoft? L66 or L67?
There's not a level equivalent. There are individual contributors that are L70 and there are M2s that are L65. That said, the poster said they were running an org that is 50ish people which tells me that they are likely a L67 (top of Principal band) or L68 (Partner).
Thanks
At MSFT, TC range has to do with level rather than role. I've seen m1s who were level 63 (Senior) all the way up to level 70 (VP). Individual contributors at the same level are paid the same as managers at that same level.
