M5 OCI compensation
What is a reasonable ask for M5/IC6 TC at OCI org? I thought that ballpark should be around 600, but I could be way off. There are not a lot of data points available about these grades. How reasonable will be to ask for 700 given that I aced the interview? In the process of interviewing with Google for L7 PM, but gosh they are so slow. I might not be able to wait till the offer phase. TC: 510
350TC is what others get. Not sure what OCI gives now. How do you interview for L7 PM at Google? Others say they offer you a level after evaluation.
350 for Senior Director??? OCI give up to 400 for IC4 roles. L7 PM is what I am shooting for. Final level will be decided by HC.

I reached out. I have couple of high level (L8 @ G) former colleagues who referred me and gave recommendations.
Can you break that TC down into components?
600k offer usually goes as 250-300 base and 1.4m rsu.

For IC6 the band is pretty wide. Depends on how core you are to the mission and how much supply their is for your skills. You could probably get 1M TC if you had the right combination of sales and technical talent. Also, you don’t “ace an interview” for high comp. the sales cycle is more complicated and usually involves significant contributions to the industry. Open source leadership, books published, senior accomplishments at other companies.
Thanks for your feedback. I agree that IC6 is really wide band and could go all the way up to M6 or even M7 range both scope and compensation wise.
That seems really high if you intend for that to be delivered via base + sign on + initial rsu grant over 4 years. No bonus percentage is discussed or committed for M5, but high performers will receive RSU refreshers which will bring your total closer to 700
Are you sure that's high for M5? It's high for IC5, but M5 should be a fair bit higher, no?
No - it's high. You aren't really comparing apples to apples. TC can be in the 700k range for a top performer but that includes an annual rsu refresher, not base plus sign on only
