Amazon contract to hire vs Deloitte fulltime
Hello! I have been offered a fulltime senior consulting position at Deloitte and I also have an offer from TEKSystem for working as Contract to potential hire for Amazon ordering module. I am getting confused as to whether it is worth taking the risk as working as contractor for amazon or not. TC for Deloitte : 175k base + 15k signing bonus + 17% annual bonus ~> 220k for first year and 204k after TC for TEKSystem(amazon contract): 115/hr ~> 239k (if looked at yerly) (also offered 6 paid vacation days and 6 holidays in 6 months period) Anyone has gone through amazon contract to hire? #amazonsalary #deloitte #amazon #facebook #google #tech YOE: 6

I personally avoid contracting at all costs unless it's highly likely that conversion to full time will happen within 6 months or so.
Avoid contract if you can. Factor other perks in the compensation (time off, benefits such as healthcare, refreshers). With a 6 months contract you pretty much have to look again for a job as soon as you start the role… Id take deloitte and apply to faang.
