Is an MBA worth it if you have / will have CFA? It doesn't seem like it'll increase my earning potential, and my career trajectory is great so far. It also seems in general for it to be worth it I'd need to go Ivy League.
Both do not have great ROI. MBA is slightly better, for at least you can get some new friends
Ummm MBA is great plus if you are not married, it's the best leadership and hookup environment you could ever be in.
I have both. Got MBA first then CFA from a prep class in the MBA. I highly recommend the MBA for networking. I switched industries though. From Commodity Trading into Real Estate Private Equity.
Did you get the CFA or MBA first?
MBA first, then took a cfa prep class inside the MBA (i.e. credits toward MBA) after taking all the finance clases. Made the CFA a lot easier.
CFA is more for technical career right? None of my MBA friends have that

If your career trajectory is good then there is no need for an MBA.
