Did I miss a great deal of 0.99% from tesla ?
I have started applying to jobs since last 3 months. I have applied to around 50 jobs (all/mostly SDE-1) in all types of companies, big, small, medium, mostly through referrals. I have got only 4 interviews till now. I'm trying to switch from Data Scientist to SDE. How to get more interviews? I think I have good quality projects in my resume for a relatively inexperienced candidate, but they are not very much catering to software development. If me being a DS is stopping me from getting interviews, I'm thinking why can't the companies consider me like a fresher and pay me the same they pay when they visited my campus? I've mailed/messaged(on LinkedIn) lots of recruiters too in an attempt to get to reach interview process quickly, not one of them have been successful, they all tell to apply on the company website, or most of them don't reply. What can I do better to get interviews? Any suggestions? Thanks. P.S.: I'm from a Tier 1 college. I'm from India. Yoe: 1 TC: 18 L (not Innovaccer)
Take referrals dude
Try referral. If you’re not getting enough calls then have your resume checked by someone
