MS->Amazon offer review
Been at microsoft in Redmond for 5 years (level 62), and was offered sde 2 at amazon. Base pay- 160k Joining bonus- 55k first year, 45k second year Rsu- 85 Is this a good offer?
Pay looks about right.i wouldn't move from ms to amzn though. Not worth the sleepless nights
That’s about 222k for your first year at today’s stock price. Not a bad offer assuming you get a good team etc
I guess u can extract more in stocks.. Salary they have a cap...

Put numbers aside. Amazon isn't a good fit for everyone. Do you feel you understand the culture difference? Have you talked with Amazonians or ex Amazonians? Do you prefer Amazon culture? If yes, don't worry about the numbers, go for it.
