MS: Resigned and walked out after 48 hrs due to joining competitor. Completed my resignation in HR portal. Returned laptop and tons of access cards. Able to send goodbye email and thanks to HR. After 5 days of leaving, Manager email to personal id and asking to complete important paperwork in-person. Is this normal or unprofessional? Updated: they want seperation certification to be signed. Manager wants to join you onboard as well
Seems super weird...
Sounds odd. If the paperwork is so important, why isn't it coming from HR? Did they tell you what the paperwork is, or just "important paperwork"?
Important is still mystery... asked for scan doc
seperation certification to be signed.
Why did you tell that you are going to a competitor?
Garden leave
OP, let us know if you do get paid for two more weeks.
No idea what imp paperwork is but it is a hard no to come back to the building. He can meet you and buy you lunch or mail the paperwork to you.
Asked for mail... lets see
@Google - I am curious why would you say it is hard no to go back to the building ?
That’s one you should have waited for few more hours to complete the paperwork before walking out in style and pulled back by your ear 👂 🤣
He wants to give you his resume for a referral
LMAO
No harm in meeting him for lunch as long as he buys
Except the official voice of the company, here HR or legal, no one can/should reach out to your personal email. Also, if it's legal, you will get a postal mail and not an email. IGNORE!
imp?
Important lol
