Hey Guys, So I’m considering going back to school to get my masters. I’ve came across multiple programs, but I’m trying to see if I should just get my masters in Software Development or Software Engineering. Reason I’m asking, is because at the moment I work full time as DBA and have a little one on the way. Software Development seems a bit more manageable for me. Do employers favor one over the other ? My goal is to eventually go more corporate and work for a Fortune 500 company, I currently work for the government and want to make sure that my resume and experience is competitive enough. Thank you
Why not just Computer Science
Neither. AWS pro certs or figure out CISSP. Your inbox will be full of recruiter emails.
I’m taking my AZ 204 Cert Next Month
@Bill Gates: Can you pls share a bit more about certifications? I'm already working as a Support Engineer and thinking about getting some certs that are worth my time and money.
Lol
Computer science
CS
Literally does not matter as long as it’s technical. Do something you’re interested in. CS grads are a dime a dozen these days so might as well differentiate yourself.
