MSFT buying Metaswitch Networks
What are the implications for MSFT buying Metaswitch and Affirmed Networks? Are telcos doomed and only play a real estate for clous vendors??

One of my accounts is a global enterprise and is very seriously considering dumping 90% of their telco and going to Teams for calling. I think telcos are doomed in the traditional sense.
