Having one of them current job and both are FT.
More important question is what role is this for?
It’s SE, cloud position
How many YoE do you have?
I worked alongside a lot of Slalom consultants from 2010-2018 (I was a client). I now work at Autodesk. I'd consider what you're more drawn to: direct employment (with increased ownership over your work) or consulting for clients (possibility to bounce from company to company). Both are great companies, depending on your manager / project / product. If you're in the Seattle area (big Slalom hub), note that there isn't a physical Autodesk presence which means limited face-to-face interactions with colleagues.
So what do you suggest should I join Autodesk, is it a great to join coming from consulting background? And why I’m comparing bcoz of the market as I know consulting layoffs are going rapidly and finding a safe option like Autodesk. What’s your thoughts on this?
You gave no info about the respective positions. I know nothing about Autodesk, but Slalom doesn’t feel very good these days, as I assume you are experiencing.
What’s your TC at both places?
