Anyone know how h2o.ai is doing? They have an offering via equityzen
Why would you consider buying stock in a pre-IPO company? There's huge information asymmetry. You're asking on blind about h2o. The seller who you will buy from either works at h2o, or is an investor. He knows way more about the future of h2o. And yet, he's selling to you.
I could find a user/customer too who could give me legit feedback
@Facebook - different people are in different situations. Some (not talking about H2O or any specific case just about EZ in general) might try to sell to cover the stock option price or the tax🤷♂️
@h2o- how do you think the company is doing ?
Bump
They just had a new round of funding recently which bumped up their stock price. A unicorn now.
I dunno about Equityzen, but H2O has been around since at least 2015. Its really hard for startups to get into this business because it's hard to have a one size fits all approach to ML problems in the real world, and the easy low hanging fruit is being tackled by AWS/GCP already I imagine, or by in-house ML engineers. Stiff competition from many similar companies trying to democratize AI
Thanks - isnt datarobot similar ? They seem to be doing pretty well
Yeah same as datarobot, I didn't realize they were doing well
