Anyone trying to land a MLE role? How are you prepping and were you previously doing MLE? In my case I’m reviewing some of the data skills like sql/spark. Background is a little closer to ML research and generic software engineering.
DM for jpmc if interested
I landed one, previous experience was mainly as an Applied scientist/researcher. Apart from suggestions above - grokking ML has a neat course on ML system design. Knowledge about kubernetes, deployment optimizations - likel quantization, distillation etc was helpful.

1 vs 5 Million - no lifestyle change
I landed on one, previous experience is mostly working with ML engineers as a Scientist. I found Chip Huyen's "Designing ML systems" book very helpful. Also studied a couple of ML algo books including "hands on ML with Scikit", "Statistical learning " by Hastie et al, and "Predictive models" by Kuhn.
Thanks, how did you prepare for the programming interviews?
Thanks for the reference. What made you choose MLE vs scientist like roles?
