In my (limited) observation, what ML engineers often end up doing most of the time is building/selecting features. Then some off-the-shelf model architecture and/or training algorithm is used. Very few teams actually work on model architectures, training algorithms. Is that the reality or my observation is skewed? #faang #Facebook #amazon #Microsoft #google
