Currently in a team which does not follow software engg principles. Although I like the work, I am worried that I might not be picking up the skills regular SWEs are expected to pick up — for instance, we hardly have code reviews, no scrum/agile and worst case no testing/design priniciples. Should I leave for non-mL roles? Or are there ML teams which I should switch to?
What is the work, in a ML engineering role?
Basically inference and deploying, not a lot of training.
