Did you buy a lot of Tesla?
Nio, btc😂
Nio babyyy
How much did you invest and how much did you get in return and from what companies ?
Invested around 300k in various stocks.. I am not including my appreciation in apple stocks(only rsus i received) but my return was mixed on other stocks BA, pins, snap, nio gave big returns. Missed tesla boat and got in after split was announced😒 and only used for zoom for occassional 10-12k profits. Lost a lot on Intel, Slack, Fsly and starbucks
BA was a no-brainer in lower 100s IMO nice work

Hell yeah🍾🍾
Lucky for you when Biden takes office...... and if you are living in California- you will be paying 62% tax rate. Congrats!
Trumper spotted
Looking forward to normalcy in the world at cost of high Marginal taxes.. cant wait to pay😁
Do u do short term investment ? You will be taxed high right? Do u think it works? I also observed that short term stocks might get good return even with high tax
Both.. holding BA, Pins, Apple, FB, Amazon, Google super long now.. rest i try to short term trade and time, I win sometimes I fail sometimes🙂
Investments that you hold under one year will be taxed high. But the long-term capital games tax is much lower. Biden wants to erase that, so all investments are taxed at your normal tax rate, which was established to encourage people to become long-term savers and investors. And was useful in trying to generate returns that were greater than the forced social Security ROI (based on contributions) equating to bank interest.
What’s your net worth? Did you feel that stressed at any point?
Around $1.8m now liquid assets, sold a lot of stocks to buy home 2 years back at peak price and to get married 3.5 years back (Indian lavish style)😬😬 so that reduced my assets a lot. I felt stressed in feb end/March a lot when all my holding dropped(like everyone’s) because I kept 4 month cash at hand and everything invested so I sold a lot when things started going south in panic. Since then I kept 8-9 months of expenses in cash in case we see any other such crash so I don’t have to sell any equity to feel safe. That feeling of security gave me opportunity and confidence to buy at every dip. I feel I learnt from my own mistakes, smarter ones learn from other’s mistakes🙂
Indian weddings are no joke... I stood up at my friends wedding and they rented out a mansion for the bridal party.
Wow! Tips please? And Congratulations! 🥳
Thanks🙂 i just got lucky honestly.. sold big in feb, bought big in March. Didn’t know Market will come back so quickly
Amazing! Happy for you.
