I think, for long, we have suppressed the people outside USA and not let them in. We should make America open and let anyone enter the country and let stay and compete here as long as they want. What do you think?
I would call for an approach somewhere in between. Just like how you let people into your home. You can't let anyone come in. You let in friends, family and people who are useful for you. You keep out people who can hurt you or try to steal from you.
We should make your home open and let anyone stay at your home and compete for spaces as long as they want.
We need a reform where skilled workers and students receive transparent deterministic and dignified treatment. Coming to America should be incentivised not punished for this group. We need better talks on assimilation too. Letting a bunch of foreigners slave as Uber/Lyft drivers, generic devs, etc. while they never integrate in society is a terrible mode of failure no one addresses and everyone is caught up in the wall
Let the dems open their homes for undocumented first.
Let's start over. Kick everyone out and have them apply to enter
Border security is not equal to a Wall.
no one said that, but wall can be a part of border security. Is this such a hard concept to understand?
Only if it's an effective solution to whatever problem you are trying to solve. But the Wall of White Nationalism will never be built.
Can we get some smarter trolls, please?
You can have open borders, or you can have a welfare state like our current system, but you can’t have both.

Heartwarming peaceful protests
It's a fear-mongering tactic of the government to call outsiders criminals and therefor vet everyone. But there is a legitimate 1/billion chance that a terrorist comes to America feigning opportunity. So realistically, we do need to have some form of background research to get someone into the country. Have you ever stood in a DMV line for a hour with just 100-200 people to turn in a piece of paper?
