Hi all, I got an offer from Deloitte, and I am currently cognizant employee. I have submitted my resignation last Monday. Today my cts manager called and asking for a offer letter to check with HR to match the offer I got from Deloitte. Is it okay to share the offer letter?? Thanks in Advance!!
Would you stay if they tried to meet or beat the offer? I don't think it's a good idea to leverage a raise out of a threat to quit. They may give you the raise, but you could just as easily be marked and be the first to be laid off leaving you to look for a job while not employed.
Agreed, staying is very risky because the bridge is already burned. It's highly likely that the company will look for a replacement and fire you afterwards.
Don't share it, there's probably a clause somewhere saying its confidential anyway.
Nope
No
Don't share it, you can probably tell your manager that there are other reasons apart from compensation as well behind your decision. Talk about work, interests etc. But don't share the offer letter.
Never unless they pay you 20% more than offer and if you are on visa than dont share at all
Never share is good. However why visa mention?
Because if they increased the salary by 20% but then fired you, you’d have to restart the process of getting a job (and I believe it’s simply harder since you would also have to worry about your citizenship)
Nope
No! No! And nooooooo !
No no no , never ever
