Manager is putting lot of pressure on me
He is extremely nit picky and I think he is trying to manage me out. I don’t know how the current market is for 8 yoe but I feel like no matter how much I do - he always brings small things and slacks me but doesn’t say anything face to face. I would have not cared but my Tc is 350k 8 yoe. Idk if the current market is good enough to interview and get that offer for same or more tc. This is when I have not even completed a year. He has his favorites- to whom he say nothing. My sleep cycle is fucked cause of this and I hate what I have become- a slave who keeps thinking about work and can’t sleep. Changing teams is difficult as he has already fucked my performance.
Document every expectation and capture results in email Over time understand managers challenges and try help him/her to overcome that. Seek feedback actively. Dont avoid smile or meetings
