Maybe true... I don't know her.. but the point is that she made it, is there.. and is a millionaire, and on her way to millions more.
Manufacturing engineers will typically not be the highest paid. But you have a good path to climb up the operations ladder which is lucrative. Think of a factory manager. That’s a very well respected job and extremely lucrative. I think most of Intel’s CEOs were factory managers at one point. General purpose mechanical engineers are not well paid unless you get into a FAANG but they’re still paid less than SWEs. A specialized mechanical engineer that is in a niche and growing field is well paid. IC packaging engineers are mechanical engineers and very well paid because the skill set is very niche and demand is through the roof right now.
