Why often marathons instead more employees throughout development cycle? 1. Cheap solution? 2. Really needed? 3. Culture? 4. Big bonuses for leaders while cheap dinner for employees? 5. Satisfying someone's ego? It seems IT companies are taking advantage of their bottom level employees by making them work extra without paying. Not even decent bonus. Not all get salary like it's advertised or bay area rate. What happened to work life balance talk? If those extra hours are compared to their total salary, it's like less than hourly salary at Costco cashier. Why labor department is not looking into.
