I am a new PhD Grad with one internship worth of industry experience. I have an offer for Staff DFT Engineer (T3)position at Boise, ID. Base : 130k RSU: 64k/4years PRP: 12% (16k$ at the end of year) Joining bonus: 25k Relocation: 7.5k Hike:3-15% per year (performance based) I wanted to know if this is a good offer. Blind Tax- Potential TC: 162k$ Industry YOE: 4 months (excluding PhD research). #Semiconductors #DFTEngineer

Quite generous for Boise new grad. That relative LCOL makes this offer better than many senior hires in the Bay Area. Not sure I believe any promised 15% annual hike though. That's what people get on promos.

Yeah I don think a 15% hike is practical. It’s like giving you extra bonus every year
