I recently got an offer from Google. I used to work as Backend engineer and I am going to work as full stack at Google. So I would like to master Typescript in the upcoming 2 months. I am a bit familiar with JS but not expert. Any tips, resources or specific projects to master Typescript? TC: 180$
Donāt worry, youāll be fine. If you are not familiar with front end in general (html, css, frameworks like angular) then you can do a small project to practice, like create a todo list or something. From my experience start writing a project from scratch helps me ramp up a technology faster then jump right into a big project
Thanks, that makes sense. Does google expect you to be productive from the beginning?
You get 6 months, but it's much more fun to hit the ground running
Typescript is easy. You should check out a framework, like react
I suggest starting with the official site https://www.typescriptlang.org The documentation and handbook there are excellent resources to learn Typescript.
I was in the same position as you. Actually, you're luckier because you had time to learn it before joining. I knew 0 TypeScript and my manager told me I'd be using C#. Lo and behold the project I am working on requires TS. My prior bit of JS experience, plus Swift knowledge, made learning TS quite easy. You will be fine.
Hey MIcrosoft are you still active here? Can I dm?
Just learn Angular and you should be able to pick up TypeScript while doing so.

Typescript is pretty straight forward. You should be fine if you read the docs. Is $180 your Google TC?
