Hi guys, i have an interview setup for Sr.SE at Mastercard and wanted to know few details. How's work life balance at this company? I know it mostly depends on the team but what's the overall vibe there. After i applied for this role, I didn't get any recruiter call but directly got the 1st round tech interview setup on a short notice, is this a common practice? What is the average comp that i can expect at Mastercard for a Sr.Se? Blind tax TC: 130k
MC/V Senior isn’t actually Senior. It’s entry level. Everyone with a Masters gets Senior at 0YOE. TC in Austin will be closer to 140K for Senior (base + bonus + RSU).
Ohh really Senior role with 0YOE - I don’t know about visa but not at MC
At mc, a good engineer can reach senior in 3 years but tons of external hire seniors at 15 years. Just to keep cost down imo
Hey OP, Did you accept the offer ?
What did they ask in your first round ?
How’s is the interview question for MC? Any lost or any help ?
Mc tc will be maybe 20 to 30K more in Missouri... fyi
Hey thanks for the heads-up, i thought Sr.Se would have atleast 150-160k base and ao tc would be 180-200k. Can you please confirm where did you find this info ? Were you previously part of mc? Thanks
Mc is not a tech company my friend. Does not pay like one. Search blind. Some seniors at mc make 120k
