Masters in EE

Hi all, new user here. Ive been reading quite a few threads about transition to tech from other industries (aerospace). Many users suggest further education, so i applied and was accepted into a couple of EE programs. The problem is, Im not sure if an EE masters is worth the money just to move into a more software engineer/pm role at something like amazon prime air/uber elevate/kitty hawk. Does anyone have any experience with a transition like this? should i scrap my school offers and apply next year to cs programs or get an mba? I am interested in HW as well, but heard the pay decrease is significant. currently working as aerospace engineer, BS aero eng, with a good amount of coding experience in java/python, but not nearly as experienced as a CS undergrad. TC: 95k in Phoenix yoe: 2.5 offers: EE masters for Northwestern, NYU, Rice, Gtech thanks all.

Why ee masters if you want to move into software?
