I've only been able to find information regarding EDG compensation for Masters and PhD new grads. I was wondering if anyone had information on compensation for individuals who will graduate with a bachelor's? Also, is there is a difference in compensation for external offers vs return intern offers? Edit: This regarding the US office in Natick, MA. #compensation
Are you asking for the US or UK/India? Numbers will vary wildly.
Sorry, I'll edit the post. Asking about the Natick office in the US.
Please consider it carefully. You will be answering phones for 50% of your time. You are too brilliant to sit and take customer calls for half the time. Go do work and get experience. MathWorks experience is specific to MathWorks. It does not translate well to other companies. Be warned.
I understand how the program is set up, unfortunately with the pandemic my job search is struggling so I don't really have many options. Regarding the skills being able to translate this is something I've put some thought into, I don't plan on pursuing teams that develop in MATLAB, I'm hoping to join a team working with C++. I'm also planning on pursuing my Masters while working in EDG so I should be continually developing my skill set even when I'm on the support rotation. Do you know what the typical pay structure is for EDG?
MW for the most part has really good work life balance for a medium tier tech company. Compensation isn't great, particularly for lower level and for less education. That being said if you perform well you will eventually be rewarded.
Starting TC for an EDGer with Masters degree is roughly around 95k-98k currently.
I'm looking for information about EDGers with Bachelors degrees. Any idea what the rate is for that education level?
Do you mind if i DM any of you for referral? 4 YOE SWE , 415 LC
As a newgrad, Before my interview I was given target comp of about 95k.... That's when I decided not to interview...
Did that include the bonuses?
Sorry, the recruiter didn'tn explicitly break it down. I believe it did.
