Max Meta E5 nyc package?

Hello I have an offer form JP Morgan AI at about 600 w salary and stock. It’s not tech so not set on it. This is Vp also but quite high I think. Also have a Meta interview and it’s 2 ml design, 2 coding, and 1 behavioral. I have some questions. What’s the largest E5 TC you can get … 500 still possible? How is E6 determined? Interview performance? #meta #ai #ml TC: 370 YOE: PhD + 8

Take JP Morgan and run with it

With your PhD +8 yoe, you should be able to bag an E6 offer. Ask your recruiter. E6 will go beyond 600k+. E5 max probably would be around 530k(?)

Go with JPmorgan as long as the MD that hired you plan to stay for a while. The only caveat is the bonus part will substantially change or not guaranteed after 1st year. You have to stay 3 years to get all the stock vested.

"600 w salary and stock"... what does this mean? Not including bonus? I wasn't aware JPM was paying VPs reasonably nowadays.

Yeah salary, bonus, and stock buy out.

Meta bbbbbbbbbo Jan 3

So you're including some kind of sign on bonus? What's the actual expected ongoing pay?

227/1.2M/100

Walmart ldRO15 OP Jan 3

Over 4 years? So about 527 a year plus 627 year 1. This is for sure E5? With I guess amazing interview performance and some competing offer …

Isnt VP at a bank a SWE 2?

Walmart ldRO15 OP Jan 5

No VP is a massive band that is anything above associate (swe 2) and MD. MD might be harder to get than Staff or Senior Staff … Some banks have “Senior VP” and some have “Executive Director” before MD … Basically VP has a lot of variability
