Itโs a convenient place to be in terms of workload. Salary is ok, but TC is bad. Culture is not good imo. Constant pressure to move to the Dallas office, because thatโs where most of management is.
Iโve been here well in excess of a decade and Iโve not been slightly pressured about moving to Texas. And there are now RSU equivalencies in expectation of an IPO event. They are new this year with plans to offer them once a year to high performance
I was laid off from a CA company last year, and, not really expecting to get any response, much less a positive response, submitted an application to McAfee. I got two phone screens and then an on-site interview. They extended an offer that was at least 20% more than what I had been getting from my previous employer. I was hired on just as the SIP went into effect. With so many people being out of work because of the virus situation, Iโm glad to have a job.
