Why are Muslims nations not accepting Palestine 🇵🇸 refugees?
anybody know what salaries consultants make? as they progress in their careers. I’m loving several case studies they do as part of their job. but not sure how much they get compensated with. any pointers please?
My brother makes $500k at Deloitte
Bull shit unless he is a partner
My uncle at Albertsons makes $17M as CEO
I can give some ranges, but things might have changed. And again, this is for top 3 (MBB) firms. No tier 2 shit like Deloitte or ATKearney etc. These firms usually are aggressive in year 1 out of MBA but then drop versus MBB after that. Folks can coast at tier 2 but harder to do so at MBB. Out of MBA: consultants make 180-210k for first 2 years Year 2-4 as they become team leads, they make closer to 260-280k Year 5-6 the ones who get promoted to Engagement Managers may make about 320-340k Years 6-8 Associate Principals and Principals make close to 400k After this some of them become junior partners, who start at 500 I believe. Senior partners on an average may make 1-2M a year. Someone can please correct if things have changed
How much does an Associate Partner make? Are these junior partners?
Principal is same as AP. So 400-500 I think
Average partner salary at Deloitte (consulting, not the tax/audit BS) was 900k a few years ago. Probably north of 1MM by now
What is partner role?
Out of undergrad? <100k
Yes 75k
For business jobs you're much better searching in wallstreetoasis than on here
Not non-tech business. Maybe consulting or IB shit.
Assumed he was asking about management consulting mckinsey and not their SWE positions. But yes RT^
Important to note that your comp is just base+bonus. Most consulting firms do not give any stock or RSUs.
OP, is this for tech consulting or management consulting?
Management consulting
Can corroborate numbers from slickdealr above. Data points from former fellow consultants: BCG, Bain, Strategy& have same salary bands. Some part of Deloitte as well but not sure. None of my comments apply to partner salaries. Keep in mind that consulting for a lot of people isn't about TC. For me, it was about not knowing what exactly I wanted to do. It took me a few years, and I worked in several dozen companies and across most major industries before I was sure I waned to do tech. Multidimensional growth was another reason for me. Now I am super happy I was in consulting. I have a good appreciation for tech, and I know how to navigate just about any room.
Any updates post Covid ?
