Has anyone have any idea what type of questions they ask for R and Python? Do I have to code? Is the practice question similar to the actual test? #datascience #Mckinsey
Gave the test. Found that test was kind of hard especially R as I had no experience in R. Stats was kind of lengthy and time was insufficient.
thank you for the reply and I hope you passed! 🤞What kind of stats questions do they ask? And is R on data cleaning/wrangling? (I also have 0 experience in R..)
I failed because I wasn’t called for next round. Rejection after the round. I think time is ticking too. 15 questions each for everything. Stats The distribution and hypothesis testing etc
You don’t need to LC. Open up the pandas documentation as you might need it
Practice questions are exactly matching the types of questions you will have on the test. You will need to code short pieces too.
Thank you for the reply — I really appreciate it. How’s the difficulty level compared to the practice questions? It seems pretty standard data cleaning/mining for the practice questions.
It is a sliding difficulty test. If you answer correctly the next question will be more difficult. If incorrectly, the next will be easier. You won't be able to skip questions or return back to questions. Watch the time carefully. Python section tents to take longer, but you need to manage your time to be able to answer all 12 questions in each section.
