my TC has dropped below $300k
due to Amazon stock crash, and me being in my 15% vest year, my new TC is now $290k and not $300k+. it's time to save and weather the storm. don't worry, we're all in this together. there will be some rough patches but i understand the struggle. i have already started budgeting in excel. TC $290k (previously $305-310k) YOE 2

Donβt live off your stock. Live on your base and bonus. This is the problem with companies giving so much compensation as stock. When you actually build your life on the base + stock then you are at the mercy of the stock fluctuations.
