Men who follow “female fitness influencers”
I’m about to go on a first date with this guy. I noticed he follows a lot of female “fitness influencers” on instagram. They’re basically just scantily clad women in tight clothes bending over a lot and lifting. I completely understand that everyone watches porn and am clearly not judging that. But I do believe in decorum and that private things should stay private. Instagram is a semi-public platform where everyone can see who you follow. So.. it kind of disturbs me. If I were ever to move forward with exclusively dating him, I wouldn’t want his IG feed to just be filled with scantily clad women bending over and stretching. Why can’t he just watch actual real porn? Why does he need fitness influencers doing softcore stuff on IG? Am I the weirdo for thinking this is a red flag? Do men clean up their Instagram feed once they get into a relationship? How would I have that convo with him without seeming controlling or overbearing?
Is he fitness freak too?
There is no standard when it comes to dating. You need to know what you want and select from there. Best believe there is no “all men do it” lol. Baby girl you work at google, the world is your oyster
Men will date down, women only date up. If OP is at google, the chances of finding someone of equal or greater status is minuscule.
I know plenty of women who married "down". Their partners brought something other than TC and/or looks to the table.
What is his TC and your TC. Based on that we can determine next steps.

It’s very normal, but it’s also a red flag. If you end up dating them, know that they’re likely always going to yearn for a hotter partner in the back of their minds. “True love” only exists in Hollywood. Everyone’s always looking for an upgrade. Upgrades could include women or cars.
You start with following a couple and then you don’t know when your follower list got dominated by them. My ex followed a lot of such profiles but I didn’t know that until his next gf made a fuss about it 🤷♀️
Can you tell if he actually looks at them? Maybe he subscribed long ago, then forgot.
Delete your own instagram account before judging his. If you’re advertising your body online, how can you be taken seriously in a relationship?

Even women do it. Some women I matched it would straight up LIKE almost nude women on Dan Bilzerian’s posts, groping them. And I think, “why would you do that.”.. I thought that was a red flag. In my eyes, I see those skimpy dressed women just running around a guy flaunting his cash. And my potential date liking it felt like that’s what she prefers…. Or I guess it’s my insecurities? Lol everyone has those. Moral of the story, don’t trust Mark Zuck with your likes.

For me it was unfortunately a red flag. I bailed. 1) I may have considered maybe party a bit as a friend - but you can say, I was not in a mood to seriously date them. 2) It’s a bit embarrassing if my friends find out I am dating her, since they would also get to see their Insta activity. I don’t know your case. If you get similar vibes, you know how valuable your time is
