Meta AI teams hiring E6?

I passed my onsite a month ago and have had a few team matches. Was at Meta previously, and had a great experience. My impression is that the new team match system isn’t that effective. Of the three matches I got, none are super exciting to me. But I’m considering moving forward with one since it’s high visibility and I know I could have a lot of impact there. However, I’d prefer to land somewhere I’m excited about from day 1 rather than going in expecting to switch teams after a year or so. If you’re looking for a strong, established E6 to join your AI focused team, please get in touch. #meta @meta

How was the team match interview experience ?

I'd say it's HM dependent. So far I've had three flavors: - HM puts on a sell pitch (complete with slide deck) to make you excited about the mission, at the end asks about any questions. - HM gives a high level overview of the role (maybe 5 minutes) and then turns the rest of the call over to you to ask questions - HM does a pseudo interview where they ask specific questions about things on your resume (TBH these annoy me since I've already proved I passed the hiring bar). One thing I've picked up on is be very careful when listening to what the team needs, as some of these IC6 roles really want a highly technical program manager as opposed to an engineer.

Theres a Discord server tracking candidates stuck in TM at Meta. E4/E5 are a cluster but E6 is pretty quiet. I'm in TM right now and have HMs reach out to me for domains I have absolutely no experience in but they said they'd love to have me if I was willing to learn. The fact that it's happened multiple times makes me think that E6 has more headcount than candidates in the funnel, at least at MPK. Might not be the sexiest teams but no shortage of reqs from RL and Reg Readiness.
