Meta DE technical phone screen - limited python experience

I made it past the initial 15 min recruiter phone call after they reached out on Linkedin. I feel very confident about SQL, as I use this every day. I have very basic python knowledge of manipulating strings and reading files but that’s it. No data structure knowledge. I have about a month to prepare. I’m cramming a coursera data structure and algorithms course, but I’m not confident that I’ll be up to speed in a month for python. How should I strategize my interview timelines? Should I try to delay more? Or should I go for the phone screen anyway knowing I probably won’t do good on the python. #dataanalytics #data #de #dataengineerinterview #dataengineer

Could you please share some recruiter questions?

No actual technical questions yet. Just walking through my resume

Take it with a grain of salt since I have never interviewed at Meta. But if you have a month to prepare, I wouldn’t take the route of doing a course. I would take a data structure for eg, Dictionaries, learn the basics of it in a day or two and start practicing questions. The coursera route should be more for when you have plenty of time to prepare and no interview in sight. Good luck, hope you clear it!
