Meta E7 remote offer
Recruiter just pinged me to share the good news that they are going to make me an offer. Any recent remote E7 numbers would be super helpful. I checked levels.fyi and only found 4 references. What’s the max possible base for remote? And RSU? Possible to get 2M/4yr for remote? tc: 780k

What location are you in? Remote role cash salary can be 10% - 15% less than Bay Area. I'm not sure how location affects equity but you should prepare for a similar decrease. First year TC for Bay Area could be as high as 1M. If you can last more than a year then they start throwing more and more equity at you with refreshers and AE. What other people are saying is true, it's hard to be effective at that level when you're remote and new to the company. Unless you're in a very specialized role. It might not be worth the move.
E7s are scattered in offices different than the rest of their team and the teams they manage often. Not sure how this would be any different Teams are so distributed here, even tho they’re trying to fix that it’s far from being complete
