Meta Firmware System Design interview
Have an onsite coming up next month with 2 SD rounds: 1 in-domain 1 System design round described as 'Single-node'/non-distributed Does anyone have some context on the second one? I got a couple more resources from my recruiter that I read through. Overall they've been pretty helpful but I can't seem to find any mocks or anything else for this type of interview at Meta

i was asked to choose from a couple diff options for SD. so i chose something i was familiar with. try asking your recruiter what that means or if you’d like to change your system design option. fyi i didnt clear the interview process no offer, so take the above with a lot of salt goodluck !
I appreciate the advice! From what it sounded like on the phone it was set in stone that this is the type of interview I'd have to go through... Did they focus on something from your resume for the in domain? Or just throw out something random?
nope, it was not random. quite relevant to my work and the options were a good spread, for example: sensors and processor system, fault tolerant bootloaders, bluetooth system design, wireless comm, realtime controller for some application etc. one of them was “generalist”(dunno what that means, chose something else)
