Base Pay for DoorDash is $2.5, Instacart is $7, mostly indifferent to size, distance, time. The entire driver economics is primarily being run thanks to tip. Platforms do add tons of value, but with fees, markup, obfuscation that acts well for growth but not transparency. In short they’re like mega size clearinghouse cross subsidizing/trading off good vs bad behavior or nice vs suboptimal. The goal of this platform will be to bring select group of gig workers and great customers with transparency to conduct true gig economy. Anyone interested shoot me a direct chat. Happy to discuss more. This needs to happen so if anyone takes inspiration and does on their own. No hard feelings just hire me there someday.
Seems like not too many interested :(
This is crazy! 2000 charge for 1000 goods
3 photos to demonstrate the problem.
The future is eliminating shoppers though (personal opinion). This is going against trend.
This is actually not a bad idea!
