Don't know the level that I'm being considered (E4/E5) YOE:5 MS plus one year experience here in the US. Screening Round: 2 Leetcode medium -> Solved them optimally. Received feedback within 3 hours. Onsite split over 2 days (5 rounds): Round 1 (Coding) -> 2 Leetcode medium, solved optimally. Round 2 ( System Design) -> It went ok, was not able to complete the design but the interviewer seemed satisfied with the design. Completed requirements, capacity estimation, Apis, Flow diagram, didn't complete data modeling Round 3 (Coding) -> 2 Leetcode medium, solved them optimally. Round 4 ( Behavioral) -> This didn't go well, interviewer was not that happy with my answers. Round 5 ( Coding) -> 2 Leetcode medium, solved them optimally. Waiting for the result. I would rate my coding rounds-> 9/10. System Design -> 6-7/10 Behavioral -> 4/10 What are my chances? Update: Was contacted by recruiter, All rounds were positive, except behavioral. Will be presenting for leadership review during next week. Recruiter is asking for any internal references.( I don't have any) #software #swe #engineering #meta
how did you screw up behavioral out of all rounds
It was my first interview after 10 months
I can't stress this enough: practice at companies you don't give a shit about. I threw away like 5 good opportunities because I interviewed when I was very cold.
Why did they have one more coding round at the end?
Recruiter mentioned that it was a shadow round, which is random, some people get system design/behavioral too
DM please.
why did you have three onsite coding rounds?
Recruiter mentioned that it was a shadow round, which is random, some people get system design/behavioral too
was your system design question from this list? https://leetcode.com/discuss/interview-experience/4428743/Meta-Onsite-System-Design-Questions
Yes
Low chances
Explain?
Could you explain please?
