Hey folks, Currently interviewing for a non-swe role at Meta. Still have a large SQL component as part of the job which I have been doing forever. I used codesignal platform which they provided as practice (mostly using to get used to the mysql version syntax). Surprised that some of the content goes into geocodes, xml parsing and regex that are never used in practice. For anyone that was just limited to SQL interview, were the timed tests given by Meta difficult? I don't expect the questions were going to the brain teasers I see in codesignal, but just wanted to be safe. Job family would possibly be data analysis if that helps. #meta #sql TC: 230k

Recently did tech screen with SQL as my chosen language. It was easy to medium level on LC. Given a review table, find the review rate. Follow up was “are new users more likely to give a positive or negative review” and it was a simple case statement, join + aggregation.
Appreciate it thanks, that's what I came to expect. It's a very business focused role so I think the coding will be even easier. Feel like it's all done through the platform to weed out those with no SQL knowledge. Working on just the syntax above all else atm. Thanks again.
Hey, how was your test? Is it easy ?
