Hello everyone! I have an upcoming interview with Meta for the Software Engineer OS Frameworks - Reality Labs role (probably E4) and I would appreciate some help from anyone who has experience with this role or the interview! Will the coding rounds be the general LC interviews? What kind of questions do they ask in the design round? I highly doubt they’ll ask me to design a scalable backend system for an OS role. I plan on asking the recruiter but I also want insights from more people. I really want this role and I want to make sure I’m prepared with your help. Thank you! TC 180k
Example of question they ask in design round: Write a function to download a binary on local device. What’s tricky with that simple question is how to deal with really big files, small files, queuing, resuming download, shit connection. Interesting tbh
OP, please share your experience after the interview

Do you have an ms/PhD or work on something niche? I have experience in operating systems/low level C++ stuff and couldn't get an interview with 1.5 - 2 yoe.
