I’m sorry that people are losing jobs but everyone knows that TPM work requires pretty much no hard skills and can easily be done by engineers / EMs / PMs. It’s a role enabled entirely by luxury, and given the economy we could see a bloodbath for TPMs everywhere

...until people realize that the work won't get done. Yes, it's not rocket science but its still the type of work people don't like doing and / or aren't good at. So yeah they'll cut it (and yeah, theres probably some dead fat in the TPM bench), but meta fired a bunch of tpms last year and hired a lot back and still has open tpm hc (huh, i wonder why).
