Blind is an antisemitic cesspool
Well.
Meta doesn't want to fix these problems. It's too much trouble. Facebook and Instagram are full of scammers and con artists, and they won't remove them even when you send them conversations where they try to scam you. They don't care at all. All they want to do is cover it up, and this guy flipped the rock and let everyone see the roaches crawl out, so they rescinded the offer.
nailed it. he failed to read the room
I bet they do care at least for legal reasons, but yeah, it won't be easy to prevent scammers considering how wide their user bases are
Companies don't like it when you explain huge problems and will work hard to retaliate against you. Easier to remove the noise than address the solution. Source: "EX"-Roblox
See Boeing
Fake as hell anyone can doctor an email like this especially a "investigator". The "redactions" are literally just highlights from Microsoft paint. God LinkedIn is poison
Don’t think someone would be so stupid to fake an email and post it for all to see and potentially get exposed? Odd take. But yes, weird people exist on LinkedIn.
Maybe intentional the redactions or so bad. You can 100% see that recruiter’s name and then pull him up in LI. Seems like he wanted to call that guy out specifically - even though he likely had zero to do with the decision (that email, if real, could have been a lot better).
Why would you set up a webinar about your future employer days before you start. Like if I got a job at Google and hosted a conference about how Google is the antichrisy the Thursday beforei start
Some people just love to be rebels
👀
This is ridiculous. They didn’t rescind the offer because the concerns were raised. They rescinded because this webinar can be interpreted as if they’re speaking on behalf of Meta before they even started…
Seems likely. I get that he had probably prepared this webinar long before getting the offer, but he should have thought to mention it when he did. They probably would have been like yeah, you can't speak about Meta in public while employed here without going through our PR team. Duh.
Meta profits from hacking our children’s neurochemistry and wrapping them up as a product for old perverts, and everyone at Meta knows it and doesn’t care. Their product is digital cigarettes and correlates to higher death. As long as everyone gets paid though, what’s the problem? Duh.
This guy should have his drivers license rescinded for being so dumb.
We've rescinded your offer. CHEERS, BOBBY
Maybe he should have waited till he started
