Meta interview coming up, recruiter says it’s L2?
Have an upcoming hiring manager interview and a bit confused about the leveling for the role. I asked the recruiter what level the position was and they said L2 with base salary range topping out at $161K. The role itself has a manager title with business integrity and has a team of analytics / data science folks. I can’t actually find any info on L2 for Meta so any info appreciated - I want to make sure I’m approaching the conversation correctly. TC $163K Base: $145K Bonus: 12.5% #tech

L2 is basically an M0. The first people management tier (L2, M1, M2, D1, D2). It‘s a lateral comparison to an IC5.

I thought they didn’t hire external candidates for L2 ?
