Meta layoffs
Any idea which orgs/teams have confirmed targets on their backs in the next round of layoffs? I also heard that some teams have been told they are safe. Any teams that you know of?
No teams would be safe if they’re trying to cut the middle management.

I’ll tell you. Front line recruiters/sourcers today. In the tune of 1500-2000. Recruiting is still terribly bloated, coming in around 2000 left to clean up todays blood. And like in the past, the entire recruiting leadership team still stands. Apparently they feel since they steered the ship so wrong, they have the right to go down with the ship (or some shit like that). Next up in April will be SWE and finally business teams in May. Think about what great productivity this company will have while we wait for the next 8,000+ to come through the gates.
Is meta only doing layoffs for recruiters? Will SDEs be affected
