They’ve already said that performance did play a role.
The real reason was market demanded a sacrifice and it was either fire en masse on RL or fire some random people put there. I doubt all this was due to.low performers. We basically removed all bootcampers, do you think that had anything to do with performance?
So 11K people were all low performers? And meta waited to cane then until now? Hare to believe.
Now we get to the weird blind insecurity complex where people who survived the layoffs are convincing themselves they were top performers, as a coping mechanisms and are in for a shock come PSC cycle

80% of my team was new and 50% was fired . Most of us hadn’t had a single psc yet. They fired based on level. Senior folks were retained while junior were let go

Just not true @LongFB I was literally putting together a promo packet for level 6 and longest tenured in my org. Most of my team was hired in past year, but higher level(6 or higher) they laid off me and kept my team

Not tryna join the layoffs and provide evidence. It’s just annoying see everyone posting on LinkedIn thirsting over the good talent, when it was quite the opposite.
