Got the following email from the recruiter a week after the onsite: ``` ... I wanted to reach out and just let you know a decision has been made regarding your application for Meta. Happy to run through the feedback with you; let me know when you’re available to speak? ... ``` Is that a generic email or can you tell if it's a hire or no-hire? Edit: Forgot to mention that the recruiter told me I passed to the hiring committee on Monday Edit: was interviewing for e4/e5. The recruiter let me know they wanted to proceed to an offer for e4! 🥳 Turns out blind is not always right.
Got the same call and got no offer
More likely than not an offer (they don't want to put any numbers in writing yet), but still a chance it's a rejection.
Not an offer sorry! If they write "feedback" why would they give you an offer
Rejection
No offer
How long has it been since you completed onsite?
Last interview was Friday before last so about 5-6 work days
Did the recruiter have any correspondence prior to this about submitting you to the Hiring Committee?
Rejection. If it's an offer, the tone would have more excitement
Might be a down level
Ding ding ding we have a winner
Sorry mate. You’ll have to keep enjoying the Amazon leadership at new relic and observing how Francisco partners further ruin the company. 😞
I’ll just take the other offer 🙃
Yeah lol. How are things at new relic currently are they too bad? Also been told that there may be some more layoffs soon, is it a thing? Best of luck mate.

Honestly sounds like an offer
This is clearly no hire. Else they usually say congratulations, and not mention feedback.
I got a similar worded email and it was an offer. But I remember also thinking it was a rejection when I got that email. Honestly don’t know if they purposely word it that way to confuse or it’s just poor communication skills but while I was glad I got an offer I was equally annoyed by the unnecessary suspense, that first email after the final interview should just be a “congrats we’d like to make you an offer” or a “we don’t feel it’s a good fit at this time”.
