First question: Medium blind level. (on the easier side on Medium IMO) I figured out the optimal solution in a couple of minutes and started coding. The code had 2 bugs that were discovered while going over an example. I fixed them but the code was ugly and it took the whole 20 minutes to actually get to this point. Second question: Easy blind level. Figured out the solution in a couple of minutes. Coded it without bugs. There were 10-15 minutes left so the interviewer gave a follow-up which was hard blind level (I think it should be medium because it was really not too difficult, especially after the initial one was already solved) and I solved it as well in 5 minutes (with actually coding it) Edit: I believe I'm interviewing for E4 but did not confirm with the recruiter Edit: TC: 180k (Outside the US) YOE: 8y Update: Just a quick update to let you know I passed :) Is it a Pass or a Fail? #meta #tech #interview #phone
Fail because there’s 100+ other candidates with better resumes who solved 3 hard problems
What level did you interview for?
The bar to pass the phone screen is not high
Solving both the questions optimally should be sufficient? I'm preparing for a Meta interview and would like to know
E5 or E4? Yoe??
Were these all tagged questions and if so what recency list were they on (6 months, 1 yr, 2+)?

The two-pizza team rule is racist
Solved 2 problems and +1 verbally. Yeah I'd say that's a pass
I really butchered the first problem with stupid bugs but at least the bug was in the code and not the algo :\ Hope it was enough to pass the phone part.
Do you know if the recruiter has input on whether or not I passed or if it's entirely for the interviewer to decide (Hire or No hire)?
